Like the Twingo, and Fiat Seicento the AVT conversion for the Rover Metro offers four seats in your electric car.

The base vehicle has a standard 5-speed gearbox which we retain so you can travel at speeds of 60 to 70 mph, depending on battery choice.

Lithium batteries give from 50 to 100 miles and lead acid batteries between 20 and 40 miles. The Metro is now an old design which is no longer manufactured. AVT has converted more of these vehicles than any other. If you want a competitively priced conversion then this is it.

The Rover Metro makes an easy conversion because it has hydralastic suspension which is easily modified to carry the additional weight of the batteries. It is also easily available and cheap to buy secondhand. AVT has converted lots of these cars.
